Foster Care & Adoption

We have been finding homes for children and teens since the late 1800s when two of the agency’s predecessors, the Children’s Aid Society and the Jones Home, placed orphaned children into suitable adoptive homes. Today, homes are needed to care for sibling groups, teens and children with special needs. Parents are provided with on-going training and support and a social worker is available to families 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

"You learn a lot from the kids in your care - in unexpected ways and places.  Most of these kids have experienced such loss, yet are so resilient and courageous."
