Responsible for direct care of children and youth in our residential program. Works in conjunction with professional staff. Implements behavioral interventions; teaches anger management, social skills, and life skills; provides a safe and nurturing environment for emotionally traumatized children.

Full time, 2nd shift and full time overnight positions.  Schedule include one weekend day/night.

Responsible for the delivery of mental health counseling services and  prevention groups to child and adolescent clients as well as mental health consultation services to teachers and other professionals within assigned Cuyahoga County schools.  Coordinates the regular involvement of parents in client services at the schools, in homes or other community locations convenient to clients’ families.

Provide intensive, home and community-based skill building, therapeutic and case management services to seriously and behaviorally troubled (SED) youth and their families in Cuyahoga County. Requires flexibility of schedule in response to the needs of assigned families.

Provides advanced psychiatric nursing care and mental health services as agreed upon in the Standard Care Arrangement for Psychiatric clinical Nurse Specialists.  Patient assessment and evaluation, prescribing, general medication management and treatment planning.
