The Eleanor Gerson School Programs offer an alternative school experience for youth who have not been successful in standard educational settings. Typically, the program helps students who: are depressed, have thoughts of suicide, are withdrawn, are highly anxious, are inattentive, have a history of absences and/or tend to internalize stress. The program is offered through two separate schools: a high school, for students in grades 9 -12; and a middle school, for students in grades 6 - 8.
For more information see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at left or call the High School at (216) 861-6015 or the Middle School at (216) 521-6511.
The Eleanor Gerson High School is located at 1320 Sumner Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115-2851.
The Eleanor Gerson West Middle School is located on Applewood Centers' Children's Aid Society Campus at 10427 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102-1645.
