175th Anniversary Gala: Give Our Children
a Chance to Heal. In the pure elegance of
the Intercontinental Hotel in This fabulous evening will feature a cocktail reception; a five course gourmet dinner; entertainment by the Cleveland Women’s Orchestra, the Singing Angels and Applewood’s own children’s chorus; fantastic silent and live auctions; and an awards program recognizing significant contributors in the area of children’s social and emotional health. The event is expected to draw between 350 and 500 guests from major corporations, organizations and foundations, and will include prominent community leaders, personalities and government officials. Cocktails begin at 6:30, with the program and dinner following. We invite you to be a part of this historic evening. You can be an event sponsor, purchase a table or tickets, place an ad in our program, or donate an auction item. Any way you choose to participate will demonstrate to these special children that you understand their pain and that you want to help. Every year Applewood provides a variety of behavioral health care and social services to over 6,000 children, youth and their families. Your support will help provide home-like havens for children too damaged to be placed immediately in foster care, adoption or with family. Moreover, your presence will demonstrate to our five 2007 Chance to Heal Award winners that their work on behalf of our region’s most at-risk children is important and appreciated!
